we moved the garage from the one side of the house to the other. There was a light pole in the middle of the new drive way.

 

We had to pay a deposit of R2500 to the municipality to have the pole moved. oh yes, and wait 2 years for it to happen. Getting the lighting department and the electrical department together on the same day was rather tricky. And after all was said and done, took them 2 hrs !

The hub flanges were bigger than the big cog back in the 80s

 

 

 

 

I think its just the big cog was smaller in the old days

 

 

Lekker, you can replace spokes without removing the cassette on the drive side ... 

Once again proving that the oldies knew how to make beautiful, practical things, and were tougher too.
