DJR Posted June 29, 2020 Share @DJR Go have some fun...........If you know of someone in Cape Town who can still do this, please let me know. Many years ago I had 3 journals made by an old gentleman in Woodstock. They are about the size of an old family bible each and weigh a good few kilos each. He specialized in book binding for the legal profession who used to have their legal reports & things bound in leather to make it look impressive in the bookshelves in their offices. My last one is now full and the shop no longer exists. I can find nothing online either, except cheap & trashy book binding by places like Top copy for cheap student notes. I seriously considered taking my journal totally digital, because most of it is on the laptop anyway, but a real book that you can touch and smell has a warm heart that the computer simply lacks. So, before my time is completely over, I think I can fill up another proper hand made leather bound book, but I'm not sure I can make one totally from scratch and make it look neat as well as stay together forever! EDIT: Ok ... it can get a little pricey! https://www.etsy.com/shop/HouseOfStopan His www footprinthttps://www.instagram.com/iostopan/https://www.facebook.com/iostopanhttps://www.iostopan.com/ DJR
