@uni reminded me it's been a while since I posted on here.. with our move we really deliberated about bringing the pets.. Be ultimately decided that we can not.. And while it was quite expensive and a bit of a process and makes getting rental and being able just to get up and leave for the weekend more difficult...I don't for one minute regret it. The one unfortunate thing is that we could not bring all three dogs and the cat. The cat went to my sister in law and is living the life of Riley.. And the older lab went to a lovely family. It was hard.. But three dogs would have been too much to manage in a small garden area.

Where we have settled has a hotel and golf course surrounded by extensive woods which are free to all for running and walking (dogs included). The hounds have settled in nicely and there is plenty of opportunity for them to get off the leash and go for a long run. We went for a lovely walk in those woods yesterday and the autumn feels were definitely out in full force.

Me being welcomed by a mate of mine's doggos, Thor and Odin. Larger one (Odin) is on a diet, and currently tips the scales at 96kg.
