Dopers suck

Was thinking the same thing, the oke received a lot of hate here on the hub when he tested positive. But yes, no soppy stories or excuses, plead guilty, laid low, served out his sentence.

And now I see him everyday I drop my kid off at school. The two boys have identical bikes.

but K2C and Dr.Evil stage "race" aren't races they're "races" i.e. non sanctioned hence the licensed pro's don't participate. Kevin can't get a racing license till March 2019 but he can ride his bike anywhere he wants and in any fun ride that wants him there.

I never said he CAN'T ride. I said and I will quote: "riding races while under sanction is a big FU to everybody."

Kevin can ride his bike anywhere he wants, choosing to ride it in an event whether it's fun, not sanctioned or whatever is just plain uncool. The guy claimed he wanted to put back into the sport but his participation just tarnishes it and doesn't set an example or show any remorse. Serve the ban, keep riding and when the sentence is served ride any event you want - clean and on the course

Ps, call the events what you want, people were racing

If there is timing involved and results..it is a race..

Do his result then count towards his seeding?[emoji3166]

Is it sanctioned by CSA?

If not then it’s not a Race but a “race” also known as a fun ride.

I agree.

And the CSA is a frigging joke

Do you think it was right if him to race K2C?

That raises another question.

Do race sorry I mean “ride” times from unsanctioned event contributed to the seeding of sanctioned events?

Was there a start line with participants, a finish line and podium for the winners?

Sounds like a race to me

????

Sanctioned.... pppffffft

Kev's a nice guy though who did a stupid thing - he's been through the mill since then and you can only sympathize a little, so it's good to see him back in a better place these days - but in my books he should certainly not be racing. It's just not on... and illegal. Unless the events aren't sanctioned, I'm not too clued up on the specifics?

This can happen to anyone, and then you get caught, and then you get your life together, and then, and then.

You go and get pissed, and then you crash your car, no one injured, but you get bust and you get a fine or your licence is suspended. Then you cannot drive your car. If you do, you go to jail.

So in this case he is suspended, but he rides a race. NOT ON!! NICE GUY OR NOT!

gotcha. there is a big thread.

I was a bit confused as he has had quite a few health issues over the years it seems. they are listed in this post.

What I still don't know is what he's exactly accused of(or if anyone does), it looks like not contesting it has cost him a hefty sentence.

Either way, he shouldn't really be racing now - but if it's a non sanctioned race, then he can but obviously expect the abuse.

Dude everyone knew what was going on and that loopholes were being used to evade detection.

Dopers dope and they know how to work the system. When they get bust Omerta applies, even the the guys bust for doping and distribution and silence.

So the scourge continues. KE might be a wonderful guy and got his life together........ BUT the message needs to be firm and consistent.
