Yup..that's why I cancelled. Just giving my personal opinion here. Surely nothing wrong with that :-)

Absolutely. You should try Rouvy if you like varied visuals. I've tried a few others but for me the 2 best ones are Rouvy and Zwift. 2 very different flavours of training. The beauty is you can switch at any time.

The one thing I really love about rouvy is the ability to ride a "real" road. And you can get a person to pace you up a climb by picking a virtual partner.

As time goes by I'm also finding my enjoyment of Zwift waning quite a lot. I only do the workouts and I also find myself watching youtubes rather than my cartoon guy so the whole social aspect of it doesn't really hold any attraction for me.

When the gym opens up again I'll most likely cancel my Zwift subscription. I'm running 3 times a week and then I'll throw in 2 spinning classes a week which I really enjoy which is enough. Weekend riding is for enjoyment only.

Make no mistake I think Zwift is great. The training programs are really good IMO.

*Edit. Oh  ja I've also picked up the old surfboard again. Too many sports not enough time. I need to find a way for someone else to do my job for me.

I am using Tacx Desktop App now. Also a huge variety of videos/routes (up to 1080P). Not sure how it compares to Rouvy (I think Rouvy offers some form of augmented reality) which is great.

Just a heads up, an update for Zwift is out today, so give yourself extra time before your next ride ;) And no, it is not the UI update.

For me my average speed on Zwift isn't something I miss. Workouts are to power, rides are to distance or time, and races are trying to not get dropped too soon.

I like the occasional ride on Rouvy (plus, I want to join one day when my dad is riding, and chase him :D He'll hate me), I've tried RGT, and still enjoy Zwift. We'll see how they grow and which features are added in the next few months.

With Rouvy, people can add their own routes, with video if they want.

So, there are many, MANY routes on Rouvy. Quality of the user-added routes and videos varies, of course.

different strokes for different folkes .....

I MUCH prefer being "out there" on my bike !!!

But every so often work and the weather conspire to keep me indoors .... this is when I start up Zwift.  I is a perfectly okay to fill the gap until I get out again....

So........

Who else registered for the "Off the MAAP Tour" on Zwift??? 4 day stage race / ride/

On their website, just can't see the distance and elevation for each stage.

Super keen for this!
