Hypothetical dream build (mamil style)

you've come this far and followed my nonsense - here's the track.  It needs to be bedded in and it needs rain.

This part of our plot, like the rest, was infested with alien trees which we've cleared.  The track actually gives is a clear blueprint to plant and nuture the indigenous trees and bushes

Please bear with the dodgy Video - I'm unable to ride although I did have a downhill trundle.  I filmed this walking/running and I have zero video skills - in fact this is my first effort at movie making

Those berms look prime.

The track looks awesome man

nice!

Looks tight on the vid. Thats going to teach you skills alright!

Definitely needs rain. Its hard to tell on the vid, If you have people over to ride this weekend, Id recommend you water it down before riding. if possible. That way the tires will compact it, but when really dry and still slightly soft it may start crumbling.

It’s pretty hard because of the clay in the soil but definitely needs some rain which is hopefully on the way

She's beautiful, Wayne. May I suggest a slightly more grippy front? The Canis is a very nice tyre, and offers far more grio than the svelte. It'll suit your soil type up there as well. And... You'll have a spare rear for when the time comes.

I have always used Canis front and rear but they became difficult to get - I imported 3 sets of these svelte by accident instead.

Will try that thanks

Also found my lightweight seatpost too flexy but that could be because it’s above min insert - again wasn’t concentrating when I hit the buy button or the cannondale has a lower downtube than the Pyga - this is an expensive problem

Rode my first “race” since CTCT today - I have an injured knee so went mid distance of 40 - probably should have looked at the profile as 1200m of climbing was brutal and that may be the slowest 40 I’ve done

The axs was skipping and changes were delayed and the stem needs to be dropped - a good test for me and the dream build

After a year off dual suspension bikes this feels weird - I now have a bike park and a superbike and all I’m thinking about is a nice long gravel ride tomorrow

A mamil and still a brat

Wayne, there’s a suspicious looking ad in the classifieds.

All of us following this thread feel betrayed!
