DJR Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 The shiny bits are what caught my eye at first, she was just a bonus, but the Cervélo she was on was the real beauty Ha ha yes, that's when you know you are a real bike nut! Or like me, last week, I slowly passed someone on a black Colnago, going up Suikerbossie, I said "nice bike" then looked up and realized I was talking to a truly stunning specimen! Priorities! No pictures... sorry but I was trying to "cane it". I'll tell you what though. There are plenty beautiful roadie maidens out there. At the risk of sounding like a total creep, my favourite part of riding the Cradle loop in summer was the roadie ladies with their zipped down jerseys coming from the opposite direction.

L.T.G Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Sticking to my plan of trying to ride trail venues other than my regular ones from time to time, I went to Northern's this morning.The ride matched the weather.... great morning! Really fun ride!Whoever's responsible for the trails... well done and stellar job , keep it up! Did a mixture of red and black on the SSR... except for a couple of sections where singing the chorus to "Hey Jude" would've cost me my tongue, bike was perfectly suited. next, I'm going to make a plan to fit Thaba in. Lexx Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Rode alongside the Krugar-Park Fence for about 15km, and almost saw all of the Big 5. Just needed the Leopard. But as we were riding on the citrus farm, the farmer's wife and her BFF stopped us, and said there's a huge Male lion roaming this area, they saw him a couple of hours ago. But we only heard the words "Lion and Roaming". And I knew that's my queue to put some distance between me and that Lion that's somewhere in the Orchards, waiting for its next meal. I kept on getting "The Ghost and the Darkness" Flashbacks ...She told us, that a couple of weeks ago they did Manage to catch both the lion and the lioness, but they just keep on coming back. Did you look carefully behind you? Do you remember the smell of its breath now? Have you checked the back of your shirt for claw marks yet?.........Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story!
