'bit of an adventure'

That's more of a description of taking my single speed the long way to the shops.

370km is more of an epic journey!

It's our BigDayOut - our yearly attempt to ride the furthest we've ever been, on one of those perfect Cape summer's days. Takes us a year to forget the ordeal before trying it all again ;)

my kakesister ! Velo !, you could do the Munga in your sleep ...

I have a new respect for each and every one of those Munga riders. I was quite happy to get off my bike after that ride (same goes for the 24hr). I have no idea how you can do that for 5 days!

Did a loop at the cradle on my SS steelie. Even got some compliments from some tupper riding roadies. No pictures... sorry but I was trying to "cane it". I'll tell you what though. There are plenty beautiful roadie maidens out there.

Haha, know what you mean, nearly came off my road bike a few weeks back trying to get a longer look at a lady on her bike going the opposite way to me... :P

The shiny bits are what caught my eye at first, she was just a bonus, but the Cervélo she was on was the real beauty ;)

Priorities.

There are some amazing machines rolling there. I'm not a fan of the arms stretched out aero bikes. Oh, the blokes riding them ain't to friendly.
