I've often wondered whether the NPA shouldn't rather forget about Gordhan, the Public Protector shouldn't just forgive Zuma........and together find and punish the real criminal who started the "Tuscan Villa trend" in some parts of South Africa.

As long as they are all build in the same style, but if you have a mixture of modern architecture and other flavors it does not look so lekker...

Took a ride up to the abandoned Castle of Muro de Roda today. The route includes around 400m of climbing over a 5km stretch.

You can get into the castle - they still use it for holding some of the nearby village fiestas. If you climb up the inside of the tower you can ring the bell at the top!

I did it singing "Hells Bells" by AC/DC . . . .

:-)

Thought I'd take a shot at guessing where those 2 shots were taken ... the first one I'm thinking somewhere between Nampak and the circus and the second at the end of RandWaterBoard road

A pity there's not much 'playing' happening at the moment

Exactly. But my days waiting has been scratched over at least 5 times already. I am having new wheels built up. What was a supposedly 2day occurence, is now more than two weeks. Reason from LBS - supplier is battling with thru-axles....

Newsman Riaan Cruywagen tells the story of a woman he knew, who went to Spain to look at Spanish houses so she could build one of her own here in SA.

She came back telling him that there were no nice Spanish houses in Spain.

Buffelsdrift on this scorching morning, Polar had a reading of 34 degrees at 8:30

Don't let the pic of this little oasis fool you though, it's VERY dry there  :(

Great morning out, super fast and flowy trails

Eish BSG . Hoe verlang ek nou.

This sign is just as you turn onto the road to Bottlierskop.

Yes wants to go riding tomorrow, we had 2 days of good rain so it will be cool weather and damp.

A bad day cycling is better than a good day working.

Mangaung MTB Classic.

Not used to the heat, average temp was 37° the last 6km was 42°

Great route but very bad marking with some missed turns. Apparently issues with landowners which resulted in locked gates
