Cradle MTB loop and surrounding district roads for #NewBikeDay for what I think could quite possibly be the best bike I've ever ridden.

A very bold statement to make but....

I think if ever forced into having to choose only ONE bike.. this could very well be it!

Awesome ride with my buddy,he gets so excited when he rides a tricky section . I’m sure he’s gonna be a good climber

He loves stopping & looking at the wildlife. He did an awesome 11.6km at thaba, a pretty tough ride for a 6yr old.

Took Maritz to do B-Spot at Bloemendal this morning.

He LOVED it !!

We headed back to the start and joined another "father-and-son" pair .... which turned out to be a coach and an 11 year old.  At the soccer field this gent was kind enough to invite Maritz to join in the exercise he had set up.  Also taught Maritz to stand on the pegs (this bit he knows), and then to move his butt as far back as possible and to lower his body ....  Maritz grasped the concept and was having lots of fun.

We headed back and did another two loops at B-Spot.

And then it was time for Maritz to do a "few" laps at the kids pump-track .... he was cycling that pump track for the best part of two hours !!!!!!

MAN, what joy to see how kids make friends and have a ball of a time !  There was another kid the same age as Maritz (grade 1), who was not sure of himself, and had a few low speed tumbles .... Martiz stopped and helped him up, and they started riding together.  I later walked over and showed the kid (got Maritz to demonstrate) how to "attack" parts of the pump track.  He then followed Maritz and watched how Maritz was attacking the humps .... An hour later this kid was riding pretty good !!  Should have seen his face as his confidence grew and grew ....

THANKS to all involved in setting up these wonderful facilities !!

Yesterday’s ride in the Simonsberg conservancy was just perfect. It remains one of my favorite rides.

If you look with a microscope, you can see me riding on Table Mountain :D

Nice picture of my neck of the woods, from an angle I don't see often enough :(
