A rare outing for my Pyga - it really deserves a more worthy owner - beautiful early evening ride as the garden route cooled down - I need to drop a few kilos or move somewhere flat

reason for the drivetrain shot - just cause it’s pretty

Pretty is an understatement for that drivetrain.

It's getting dark in the mornings, time for a new light...

some of the riders have "decent lights" ... and yet in this mist they dissapeared barely 100m away.

way too many cyclists out there in these conditions with dark cothes and NO lights at all .... 🤔

Yeah, was super misty around Tokai.

I was actually fine until I crossed Ladies Mile, and then the combination of no street lights, mist, and my clear lenses thus fogging up made for an interesting next few km...

I am amazed by the low number of riders that use rear lights.

I regularly drive the R45 between Paarl and Franschhoek and seldom see riders with lights. I find it crazy as many cars pull into the yellow lane to allow cars to pass. I have often not seen a cyclist with dark kit until I'm right behind them, as they blend into the trees in the side.

I actually had already put on my Geko top ... looked outside .... then opted for the bright yellow top.

And flashing lights all round like a mobile christmas tree ...
