last 30 odd with Sealant dousing me properly. At least it stayed up,looks like a newish tyre has delaminated . Not sure that’s a cut. Got me home though . ACA9F1DF-6EF7-4D05-891A-AB4B82F954E2.jpeg.95f9b0b38c9553f8dc1a4d64de6a1697.jpeg

A massive group took up most of the space at Pepper Tree -

54km out ride .... about 80% of one battery.

The return trip directly INTO a "slight breeze" ....

30km for the second battery !!!!  A "new record" ...:whistling:  Had to swop back to the first battery for the last few km of the ride .....

Those long steep downhills along Adderly road .... BOOST on the ebike, and me in Zone 4, still barely managing 20km/h on the DOWN hills !!

Very nice training ride

I was in that big group. The ride there was all fun and games, but the trip back to Blouberg Sands, not so much.

One of those days...getting lost, punctures and connecting big rocks at speed. Must say these shimano xt pedals are definitely strong jeez. Took a chunk off the rock. I went right over it. Right side pedal damaged and right side of the rock broken off. Tall grass so didn't realize its such a quick s-bend over a trench.

Thought i wrecked my bars in this incident but luckily it was just gouges in the paint so i stripped it down for a raw carbon finish with a clear coat.not something i want to do again soon.

Up the gorge again today. Saw a massive black snake at the top. Not sure what it was but after that every root, shadow and fallen branch looked like a snake.

That sign still makes me smile when I pass there 🤣

Up to now I've only ever been able to ride with 2 people on the road 'intuitively', my son and my big boet Dangerous Dan.

Riding without having to worry or think about what they'll do, knowing that they ride safe, take their turn when necessary and do nothing stupid ... well now I can certainly add my good mate @Pikey to that list that's for sure!
