On my way back around Marine Drive I gunned for and hunted down a young couple tucked on their TT bikes. They were a bit slow, and I may or may not have been boosted by last night’s beans and butternut and cabbage curry pot... Stayed well ahead of them for almost 15k’s and when they passed the guy greeted and said “We thought you might be motorised.” 🤠 This old git also gave it carrots. On the second half I won't lie I was wishing someone would help but I could see I wasn't the only one having to dig deeper. Still that smile I saw every time I looked back made he find the power to push harder.
