Flipping awesome!

Really !!!! Woohoo im off tomorrow!

It is "open"...i.e. trail builders let us know that you are welcome to use the trails, but they will not provide support or maintain the trails. The trails is in a bad state, Aap DHuez climb has about 10 tree across the trail and the start of Full Monty 2 is eroded badly. Entrance to Full Monty 3 is blocked by a tree.

Great riding weather lately on the Highveld but damn the wind is starting to wear me down... Since I'm generally going out towards the south and back it's almost always (no not almost, every single frikkin time) a headwind coming back [emoji53]

Ja ja I know it's good 'training' but just a little break would be nice [emoji12]]

Couldn't agree more, fed up with getting battered solo. But that’s the problem with living in Mordor ????

Still less wind and climbs than the Pennines mate . Damn those were some solo tough rides, but oh so peaceful. The suffering was always worth it a 100 fold .

Along some canal and country roads.

I came across a guy at a bridge taking photos, had a bit of a chat and it turns out he is one of the now many Saffas here.

I also learned that the odd colour in the middle of the road (especially under the trees) is moss and should be avoided as it’s slippery as hell

You never know what bike @Pikey will turn up with ... good company means the crappy wind somehow didn't seem so badb2e2467b9512c25eccfb125c0fa2f3b2.jpg

And what bike did he bring? A MAN'S BIKE! Great to see another Stache.

Back with the roadie group this morning for a nice and chilled ride... That is until the sprint starts and my hubris overtakes my logic.
