Thx L.T.G! Definitely my favourite thread as well. Love to see where others have the privilege to ride their bikes, and thankful for mine as well

Not just where they ride, but also what they see and what interests them.

My ride yesterday Morning started out pretty good, but when i hit that first hill, i knew i'm going to have a Sh@t ride. Legs just didn't want to work..

So what would've been a Long Training Ride, turned out to be a shorter 70km ride through Marloth Park, and seeing some Amazing Animals. But we need rain so badly, rivers are dry, poor animals are suffering..

Looks likes a collarbone. Coming Down chappies towards Hout Bay a guy on a bike decided to u turn with out looking. Nothing I could, do T-bone'd at pace.

Weirdly new 'dale is fine and managed to stop my garmin. ;)

Like BrandonF said, it's such a privilege we have to be able to do what we do!

My bike took me trough Kings Kloof this morning, what a fantastic scenery and nice trails.

They are still busy upgrading the trails, it is a work in progress.

Seem to have beeen the only one on a bicycle, just 2 more trail runners. The cradle must be congested then?

Pic no.3 is a panorama, you may click to enlarge.

Ouch, not good. Hope it's less serious than you think.

Finally went on a cradle ride, silly weekend to do so but it was really quite fun being amongst all the roadies doing their thing.

#noteToSelf - cradle = climbing - there's no escaping it - I really suck at this mtb thing, I had a reminder why I ride on my own, just can't keep up ????????????????????

As long as you are out there it doesn't matter how you get up the hills!

Blockhouse day! Started with the Kings blockhouse on Devils Peak, still covered in early morning fog. Was beautifully clear by the time we got to the ruin of the Queens blockhouse. Some bundu bashing was called for to get to the Prince of Whales blockhouse. Sorry for the scratched legs Beattbox. (Proof that if you don't like the weather in Cape Town, all you have to do is wait an hour and it will be different!)
