NotSoBigBen Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 A pre 94.7 amble around the suburbs and passed one of my LBS's .... apparently I don't have the hipster thing sorted but hey I had fun anyway! Takes a while every time to get used to the fact that when you try to freewheel (it's a fixie) while the bike is moving at a reasonable speed you almost get ejected over the handlebar and that you need to brake on the downhills for fear of unscrewing your hips ........ Stuck with a roasty the size and colour of a cricket ball on my upper thigh now Not a lekker day in the saddle for me. 30 of my 80 kilos were straight into a massive head wind, I got rained on, my ass hurt, but I achieved my target, so I'm happy!
