Where has your bike taken you today?

We suffered a pretty cold and wet winter so I will be cycling a lot to make up for all the days missed. I would still trade a Euro spring for some mountains any day!

Luckily that is not too far from me :)

Spent a few hours exploring new routes in Holland, yesterday.

Wave of you see an older guy on a bright green Courtyard Marriott bike with a horrible crate on the front. Occasionally around the Haarlemmemeer se Bos! Near Schipol.

I wave at most people, even though the Dutch don't wave back! Not sure what it is with Dutch Roadies?

Its the same here, especially runners I've noticed when they are alone or 2 or 3 together they never acknowledge other runners...

Nearly rode over a black mamba. I was in the same track as it and luckily saw it in time to switch lanes and miss it. Couldn't stop in time so had to go past it and then tried to take a photo. Spot the tail disappearing in the grass. Only saw about 1/4 of it I think, but man it was THICK

Thereafter I had more than enough adrenaline to climb this hill
