Sadly, nowhere, I had to work, but I did spend some time with my oldest mop.........and for the first time he did some bicycle spannering himself while I drank the beer and gave advice. He fitted a set of new brake levers and handlebar tape after a little commuting crash last week that left the old ones looking a bit ragged. Such a proud father!

A lekker 47km ride this morning to Mosselbaai (on the R102 which they are doing over and it was yellow muddy clay at a few places with a few patches of cow [emoji90] which we had to cross), had a cappuccino at Steers and cycled through Klein Brak Rivier back home.df8ca0c1ea8657d93f2aa237071d5abf.jpg

Set out to do a solo argus (getting to tokai via constantia nek from obz .. never tire of that. I admit that i felt a woes when i turned right towards noordhoek just outside simonstown cos it was bucketing down but made up for my lack of HTFU with that climb into the wind and up camps bay drive to top of signal hill.

An oldie but a goodie.

Washed both bikes in the old style with the hosepipe with rain water cos the tank is full and there's more rain tomorrow. Luxury.

Chapman's peak last Friday lunchtime as a final ride. Back home and missing the sunny CT winter already. (Sounds as if I left just in time to miss some rain)e56565bfbb772845abfca8c34f9de295.jpg20671c8fe0159b2fbb1374cb2d05beaf.jpg

Friday afternoon commute home.  Went home at lunch time to do some homeoffice for the afternoon.

Hot day in the sun.  Although the temperature was still rising.  Here in Beerland the hottest time of the day during this time of the year is more between 15:00 and 16:00 normally.  What the Garmin does not show you is the humidity.  I sweat like a racehorse polishing my 600 ml on the hour and twenty minute commute home and immediately drank another liter of water as I got home.
