I've been living in this area for 18 years and next weekend will be my first time doing this route, Harkerville Red, with a bunch of male friends. Invitation said, no females [emoji6]. Is it really tuff because I see according to the website it's only 22km but 3 - 5 hours?

Tricky route.  You would be riding along nicely, but if the kid ahead gets off and walks .. so do you ... just not enough width to get past ...

many of the smaller kids struggled in the strong wind.  But some of the 8 year olds are already hard core RACERS !

despite the conditions .... after the race most kids moved over to the obstacle course and carried on riding and riding and then some more ....

I understand this is what Ceres is looking like again and I heard about the hael from a friend who went to see his daughter who study in the Cape. Had some snow on the Swartberg mountains apparently also. Freaking cold here by us today.f7e0534932bc479bdca286b31a253464.jpg8ffb16d510aadeac6386de972835ede1.jpg24bb76ed175b8f67b9c15b2fc92d2a62.jpg Edited by BSG

Went up to the newly renovated Northcliff tower with a bike for the first time.

The view is always worth the pain to get there :D

Good to know. So what did they renovate? Paving?
