Probably making sure that everyone was wearing a mask and observing covid19 social distancing protocol. You know, the important stuff in a race.

Wow, that's poor from the organisers. The lead car stuff-up is one thing, but then to not communicate with Emma? Proper ***. "I don’t know why the lead car and motorbike didn’t say anything or in the race why the race commissaire was back with the group, all all I know is I did my post race interviews, I went to drug testing, got called to the podium and then never got called up on it, no-one told me I was disqualified, that’s how I found out."

Anyone else experience something similar?
Suspected cause? Wrist unit or something going haywire in the heavens above?
Yup, I've had it a couple of times on my Fenix 3. Had to power off and on again for GPS tracking to start working again.

Just recently a pair of shoes from RenW with no hiccups. I usually check to see how long the person selling or buying has been a member. Bring back the comments as this helps with identification as someone will always know the seller/buyer.
As long as you don't buy anything for your cousin as a surprise you're good to go ????
In your defense the site does look pretty legit from first glance.
Also, doesn't seem that it has been widely reported as a scam site (yet). I guess the only clue is the fairly recent domain registration date (although obviously new, legit sites get created every day)

Sjo, It's going to be a hot one... Hopefully races will start opening up again in the new year (Just a lot better to go run a race than going out for a 25km training slog on your own)
Haven't seen this posted anywhere, so apologies if it has.
Big congrats to Jeanni Seymour with silver at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships!
Can't find a race report yet, but will post if I find it.

Anybody else having issues with their gym tracker? My gym visit count dropped from 60 to 32 all of a sudden (with January all of a sudden showing zero visits where it previously had around 12). Only 1 of 13 August swipes have been recorded. (My workouts are all in excess of 30 min although there isn't any facility to swipe on exiting the gym so the 30 min workout duration shouldn't even come in to play)
You guys are stressing waaaaay too much about these changes; just make your posts bike topical e.g.
I added some new gatorskins to my bike yesterday; man, they are the BEST. I had to do it because Donald Trump thinks he can run again for president in 4 years time. What a [d]00s; I mean did he not screw up the country enough in his last... etc etc etc etc.
*Disclaimer - This post does not necessarily reflect the writer's own views, it is purely to illustrate a point by example. (Everybody knows Gatorskins are not the best)

Frankly, even if I had the money I would be too embarrassed to ride it. When riding a R400k bike I think you should at least have a modicum of talent and not get dropped by a guy on a dikwiel with a basket.

Oh well, wait a bit more.
Literally less than a minute later my SMS arrives from SAPS stating that my Application, with all the correct numbers, is receiving attention at the DFO...
I wonder...
Bwahahahahahaha.... two weeks. I like your optimism. In case you missed it, this is the CFR at the moment

No idea how you got it all sorted. Some magic trick or something ????
I was quite surprised as well, my license status was stuck in "Preparing for Consideration" for more than a year. Once it moved past that, both licenses were approved in a week.

What? You're still waiting for your Glock? I have received mine as well had two other firearms re-licensed which were handed in during amnesty. Think I must starting playing lotto

No... I get in my car, check that everything I asked for was done, take the highway home. If all is good, happy days, if not, I take it back. Quite simple really.

Do you take your car for a test drive as well when you pick it up from a service?
Why did the shop not test this? And no, bike wasn’t tested until getting home.
The lever feels fine. Bite point is correct. Wheel wasn’t removed. Brake simply doesn’t stop the bike.
I’m sick of shops not doing a proper test or even a good job anymore.
Uhm.... yes

What struck me about this was as seen on the video there were 4/5 robbers coming into my property at once. That must probably show that they had a good idea I have a lot of bikes. I do not suspect anyone close to me to be involved.
Another thing I noticed is that they were specifically looking for bicycles as there were other valuables in my garage which they have not taken.
What I was wondering if they could've used Strava to get the info as I post a lot of pics of my bikes and my Strava was not marked as private.
The other thing I wondered is what actually happens to the bikes. My Cube AMS mountain bike is as far as I'm aware only 1 of 4 in SA.
So how would they sell these unique bikes? Or strip for second hand bicycle parts?
I have placed my bikes on the Stolen Bikes section.
They have stolen the below bikes. Please be on the lookout.
Cube AMS C68 Mountain Bike
Titan Team Carbon Hardtail
Cervelo P2 TT
Rocky Mountain Vertex Carbon 950RSL
Titan Hardtail Alu bike.
Just a heads-up; be prepared for the Fu**'s to come back in a few weeks' time to come and see whether there is a nice insurance replacement to collect
1 hour ago, SLEASK said:Yes it was locked. Lock was cut and taken.
Having gone through the same thing where bikes were taken from garage (Electrical garage door that was forced open - Not that difficult when you have 3 men lifting the door and basically wrecking the entire mechanism) I implemented the following
- Deadbolt in the door that gets locked every night (Basically I added a steel bolt in the rail the garage door's wheels run on)
- Thick Chain and lock to secure bikes to garage wall
- Skunk pepperspray that gets triggered by motion in the garage (also activated at night) (I have activated this by accident once, in the confined space of a garage it is more than a little potent!)
There has been a few more theft attempts since then but without on success on the criminals' part

i.e Watt/kg traveling speed w/kg?
Normally WT riders are around 60-70kg on avg.
Van der Poel sits at 75kg according to the webs............Bernal at 60kg
So the 360w can be stupid crazy or way too little.

The Garmin Fenix 7 is due to be released soon (possible early 2022) meaning that you should be able to find a Garmin Fenix 6 at a reasonable price. ( I have noticed that they have started dropping in price recently)
