  1. My question is why?

You can call your bike whatever you want, be it mountain, road, gravel hybrid whatever. It is a bike.

I think it's rad. I don't get this 'line in the sand' attitude. It looks like it would be an incredibly fun bike to ride.

Which is the point? I ride bikes for fun.

Okes were riding full disk wheels with 'fat' tires and drop bars back in the day and were taken apart for destroying the sanctity of cycling.... But from that came mountain bikes.

I mean, I once owned a golf mk1 2 door with a 2L 16 valve turbo shoved under the bonnet. It made no sense BUT geez Louis was it fun to drive

    Agree, it's looks awesome.

My wondering is on the events side of things, i.e what bikes are going to be permitted for gravel only events.

  2. Hi Guys,

I own and manage Fasthouse SA.

The gear is pretty standard as sizing goes.

You are welcome to swing past and see what works for you.

    watsapp us on 0825570097

    or mail fasthouse@mweb.co.za

Where about are you guys based?

  3. I few times I’ve made up a shopping cart on their website (www.fasthouse.co.za), but am a bit worried about sizing. Had a look at their shirts in Mellow Velo at Broadacres, sizing seems a bit small, so need to get back there to try it on first!

    The kit looks very nice!

That's what worries me, last time I ordered a shirt online it fit me like a sports bra.

  4. Encountering a random issue logging into Zwift today.

When using SA Fibre (webAfrica) I get a "user cannot login" issue. Get this on phone and Apple TV.

If I create a hotspot on my phone I can login and ride fine.

    Fulgaz runs fine.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I know there is an issue with the under sea cable, wondering if they stopped traffic seen as gaming while they fix it.

  5. Any one ridden at Groenkloof recently? In the nature reserve? A few years back it was a hive of activity in the morning for hikers and cyclists. I havent ridden there since 2016. We also used to enjoy the fountains route down where the Gautrain runs. The last time we rode there security warned that area was not safe. But the actual reserve? any work on the trails and is it safe?

I saw some guys posting Groenkloof pics to the "mountain bike trails south Africa" Facebook group yesterday and asked the same question.

They advised security issues have been resolved.
