i think the diff in weight on a rear 404 with and without the PT is about 100gm's if I remember correctly.

trust me - it is going to make you suffer so much that you would want to give it back after your third ride!

oakley or rudy - problem i have with oakley is that the arms are too thick & cause problems between the helmet & ear - rudy does not have this problem. all fine & well to go cheap with the glasses until a big stone smacks you right in the center of the lens @ 65km/h. scratched my rudys. but at least the glass did not shatter and i still have my eye.

many many many many threads about tyres on this forum - just go and search - there is even one where the conti rep responded. in the end it all comes down to luck re punctures - i dont think that any puncture protection is better than others UNLESS you go for the superlight racing tyres - these WILL puncture easier than the rest & that is why they are called racing tyres! dont want to puncture and have OK training ride - go for Conti Gatorskin for racing & puncture resistance - go for Mich Pro Race 2
