I must say I am a massive Froome fan but I have to say things are looking a bit dodgy.Forget the time going up the whole climb, the first 5 km Froome was in cruise mode with a slow pace been set.If you look at the final 15km and the last 6 km when he was really moving then:

Last 15.65km

Armstrong 2002: 48min 33sec

Froome 2013: 48min35sec

Last 6.15km

Pantani 2000 : 18min11sec

Froome2013: 17min41sec

BUT Froome rode 220km before the climb at an average of 47km/h.

You be the judge

Apparently Team Sky have made an attractive offer to Steven Spielberg as their new Director, in the hope that he will help them to add a touch of realism to their image. Kuwahara also looking good to edge Pinarello as next season's bike du jour.

The fans wants to see the tour at an avg of 41km/h for a stage like yesterday.

and clearly the riders are living up to it.

Whoop whoop, Lance still faster that Froome-dawg.

Laurens Ten Dam rode and hour on Ventoux at avg of 21km/h. insanely impressive.

I like this Froome guy, "come on mate, lets make some time on the others"

Wonder if the other guys like Armstrong, Contador, etc also needed oxygen at the finnish. They said yesterday that both Froome and the the Columbian required oxygen before they could go to the prize giving.

Froome is good lance was good. But riding like that after a long stage at a very high avr speed. Cmon. Then there is that feeding?? All the guys that has won up that mountain and with that great margin all got cuaght out. That first break was a replay of lance's famous break. The guy is good but i dont like him for saying his not african... Even a clot like kevin peterson said he is an african.

Do not shoot me for my opinion but this is not just in Froome's case:

Funny that a person trains his ass off, work himself up in the ranks, spend his own $$$, no support from Africa then when a guy makes it big the country wants to take credit. Did CSA or any Kenya federation helped him regarding his training or support to go and race overseas, nope!?

At least SA got good coverage from him and his performance!
