Medic oke you fine to donate again....O+ can be used on any type but only people that are rhesus positive - so the plus sign... as opposed o neg donors blood can be used on any type (O A B and AB) and both positive and negative people. I am A neg and can only take O neg or A neg.... can become tricky... FP1095 Posted January 20, 2018 Share I'm an A+ donor. My wife's O-, but can't donate due to medical reasons.  I always urge everyone, esp group O+/- to donate. Most peoples' excuse is their fear of needles; can't help but feel it's their comfort in ignorance  O+ can be used on any type but only people that are rhesus positive - so the plus sign... as opposed o neg donors blood can be used on any type (O A B and AB) and both positive and negative people.I am A neg and can only take O neg or A neg.... can become tricky... Completely true. But just to grind your gears: Rhesus incompatibility isn't "such a big issue". O+ is given to men and older women in emergencies when O- isn't available, which happen way too often, unfortunately.  Edit: Not without risk, but benefit outweighs the risk Edited January 20, 2018 by 48bpm
Hilton. Posted January 20, 2018 Share O- as well. Also a donor. I'm surprised at how many O's there are on here.
