Cois Posted January 30, 2019 Share Have you gotten your hands on some dagga oil yet?Yes, I have. I have a 10% CBD Oil that my brother and his fiance sent me. (Comes from Italy) Another lady gave me 100% from ZA. The 100% has some THC so it kicks me a bit, but got a contact in Pretoria that can help. Getting a dagga plant as well. Will not smoke it (my lungs are the only organ that is 100% at the moment) so will either drink as a tea or make space cakes... Might just get a THC plant to space out a few people at work as well (this is a joke) BigDL, TheJ, CatzSpace "frail" and 2 others
Cois Posted January 30, 2019 Share So after the first treatment (I get a set of 4 drips every 3rd week and then pills for two weeks and one-week recovery), I must say, OUCH! The site where the drip was in and the surrounds are very VERY sensitive. I am about to take the chemo tabs (Xeloda 1800 mg) so will know by later what the effects are. One thing... I miss cycling. At the current time, I still have some stitches healing, so will wait for the okay from the specialist, and most foods as the diet at the moment is a little limited and that is if I can eat. Lost 17 kg in the last three months. Tatt, BigDL, Alistair Cookie and 6 others

Mudsimus Posted January 30, 2019 Share Good luck Cois! Its not good reading about your experience with Cansa. I think it all depends on the local branch. We worked with them when my grandfather got cancer. That lady was an absolute godsend. She didn't skip visits for one day. Helped with oxygen, meds, hospital visits etc. Cois
RocknRolla Posted January 30, 2019 Share Having lost my dad to lung cancer two weeks ago, I really wish you strength and positive vibes!!It was a most difficult path, and the hills you will have to get up in the coming months are going to be out of category. Just know, there are people thinking of you, and are really rooting for you!. partydave, Alistair Cookie, Andrew Steer and 6 others

Chris_ Posted January 30, 2019 Share And thanks for the reality check, we get caught up with so much boolsh*t that is wholly irrelevant in our days. I'm going to call my father-in-law now, he too got nabbed by prostate cancer a few weeks ago. Andrew Steer
