If you think you can't sell it, then you'll realise you also can't transport it.

so whoever buys it will need to come dop it at your house! hope your wife makes nice sarmies

and that is still illegal also.

Then again the OP can see the rules like a suggestion take the risk......

If traffic cops and police stopped using cell phones and lead by example then maybe more people would be following these new stupid "laws"

My partner is a strategic planner of note. We didn't buy bulk buy toilet paper, pasta or hand sanitiser in March, but we did visit Solly Kramer's.....

When the last lockdown ended I lamented that we had budgeted badly as we still had three bottles of gin left. She was ecstatic as we had beaten NDZ at her own game.

But to be ready for any reintroduction,  we spent what Panorama, Jock, and Karoo2Coast would have cost us - entries, travel and accommodation - at Ultra Liquors.

Bring it on. We won't ever be caught short .......

Not me....we bought a mate a fancy bottle of brandy for his birthday years ago....it wound up being slaughtered with Coke Zero....after that I vowed to only ever buy mates cheap crap! 20 year old KWV or Oudemeester...all the same with mix...

Then again my ex bought me a fancy bottle of whisky thinking it would last...it did...it lasted the afternoon with a mate.....(savoured neat so she couldn't moan too much!)

You get brannas, and you get brandy. Brannas is for mix, Brandy is for drinking on ice.

I like brandy on ice, but if it gets to that price tag I will always choose a whiskey over a brandy.

But you're right, it's all the same with mix. So buy the cheap stuff for that.

Many years ago I used to have a shebeen..the farm where we stayed had a big old barn...i put my hifi in there...some old christmas tree lights....a couple of revolving security lights and had a few braais out side and a big fire and sold braaipacks and pap along with beer and shake shake...

It worked really well..in fact my mates would come and party with everyone on a weekend...

I would buy a bottle or two of cheap 'hot stuff' and give out shots during the night....

Unfortunately one idiot pulled a knife on someone and the cops got involved and that was the end of that....

For some of the older guys out in the sticks it was the best entertainment they had ever had i think!

That was back around 1996 or so....easier days then....

well done. i like the way your partner thinks

we each have our own way of dealing with this. 20 lites of apple juice, pears, sugar and yeast got poured into my fermentation bucket last night.....

My order for a number of cases of Kaalvoet Meisie from Hermanuspietersfontein has been caught on the wrong side of this ban. Having spent the money with an indefinite delay of enjoyment leaves a bitter taste, but I have a plan!

4 liters of fresh red grape juice sans preservatives from Woolies, a cup of sugar and a packet of yeast ( try get brewers yeast other wise you have bakers bouquet). Make sure to release the gas build up twice a day and 14 days later you have a lovely Rose which you can decant into the empty wine bottles and stick a Kopdoek Feeks label on it and enjoy.

Excellent, I’ll spread the word. You can give the original Saxonworld Shebeen a run for its money.
