You cycling in a circle, in Cape Town, in March....99% chance of the following:

The wind will blow:

45% of that time will be 👉 🚴‍♂️

45% of that time will be 🚴‍♂️👈

10% of that time will be from either 👈 or 👉

Don't care to do the stats on chances of rain....

Gonna miss it this year....😒

The correct answer is The August is always the second week of  March, unless there is a pandemic and then the August is in October, but the August is never in August.

I always thought that it was answered by providing your start group and start time

im actually frothing at the idea of a very windy Cycle Tour

The one where its a head wind all the way to the south and then the wind directions makes a hard 180 turn when you approach Chappies

oef... this is where getting what you hope for can make for a long day...😬 or can get one sideswiped by a windswept chemical toilet...💩 but good luck...

Sjoe, no thanks, 2009 wasn't a lot of fun.
I remember seeing quite a few lighties with deep-section wheels rather walking back to the start, before we had even reached Edinburgh Drive

Hi all.

Will be doing my first CTCT on Sunday. Staying close to the waterfront on the foreshore.

Is it safe to cycle in the area? I want to do a ride Saturday morning?

When the tandems come out of mothballs you know it's too late to start training.

Went for a run up Chappies on Sunday. It was so so scary and I spent most of my time running well off the road. My one mate who rode his bike reckoned it was like playing Frogger (80's video game. Before your time)

Next week it's over and we'll ride from Jubilee square to Scarborough without seeing another soul again.

As safe as can be with hundreds, if not thousands, of cyclists around you. But be safe, and follow the road rules, not to say if another cyclists ignores a Stop Sign or blows through a Red Traffic Light, you can do the same.

Enjoy the beauty and atmosphere that will be all around you.

Can definitely tell its Argus week when all the talk is about wind 😀

:)

NO, that is NOT "laughing" .... it is a very nervous "smile".

I hardly ever look at the weather forecast ..... but the thought of a battery-draining-head-wind has me slightly nervous .....

If they can it again I reckon they'll battle to ever have another one.

They've been struggling ever since the last cancelled one.

Nice seeing you lads out there yesterday, good luck for Sunday 🙌🏽
