A regular at the local...

No champagne in the foreground, no elephant in the background, but I'd take it anyway :-)

Sure was an unusual ride around the block to check that it was all fine after I serviced this Mercier town bike for a friend. Sommer rode with hiking boots and jeans........oh my, I'm turning into a hipster!

After being off the bike for 2 weeks (sick) I should've eased back in....

not quite what happened! :whistling:

I haven't been to Kings Kloof in years... we "only" did 23km... but they were not easy! Everything was work, the ups and the downs!

I made good use of my newly acquired dropper post....

It's like a lost world in that place! so beautiful and so , SO much potential!

LOVE the foresty sections

Is that a new bike? Did you ditch your previous Camber for a 2016 model?

Your eyes do not deceive you... it is a 2016 indeed.

long story short, had an issue with my previous frame.

Spez Christmassed me with a 2016 replacement.

I then opted to also take the Revelation fork and Command Post and go 1x10

The rest is from my old bike... Oh ..and I managed to get my hands on a set of Saint brakes... bike was awesome before... now, it's even better!

Lucky man! That 2016 Trail Chassis is a thing of beauty.

I noticed the Saint brakes - definitely not a standard feature on any Camber.

Lucky indeed! But Spez's service was phenomenal.. bike went in to my LBS on the Monday and before the end of the week, everything was sorted.

The haters can slate them all they like, but imo they're growing at the rate they are not just because the bikes are exceptional, but their service is too!
