Is the flow trail a different line? I only know of ome with some nice size jumps and gaps.

I don't really know. The last time I was there was for a DH race ages ago and we ran a different line that started much higher up. This has some gaps but you can roll everything.

There are sender hits everywhere if you are fast enough but it's also super fun for plebs like me. Rode it on my DH bike as well as my trail bike. Fun on both.

This trail feels like a homage to Panoramic in Chatel (yes it's that good)

So, after a whole weekend of working, and other commitments, And a particularly blue Monday, I decided to take the bike for a sundowner ride.

Now, this was the plan from about lunchtime today. However, there was less than ideal weather and it looked grim.

I left Rosebank in a drizzle, but as I traveled west, things were looking better.

Left the house in sunshine. It only got worse from there.post-24416-0-94352900-1544467428_thumb.jpeg

After this pic, the climb up from Muldersdrift hotel went well, but as soon as I started heading east on Beyers Naude, the headwind made things really interesting. Had to pedal to go downhill...

Nonetheless a good ride, albeit a sufferfest for the last half.

Simply too beautiful an afternoon to ride straight home, so I did a quick round of Rondebosch Common.

Do you commute with that often? Might have seen you a few times and if.you stay opp the common then I went past you yesterday morning as you were coming out

That wasn't me. I normally don't ride past the common, but on a whim decided to make a detour for fun. I usually ride along the Liesbeek River or Main Road.

Aah ok, another dude with a similar bike then.

I rode up Phantom Pass then down the Phantom Pass single track, then up simola into Knysna forest where there's quite a huge network of trails, check out Trailforks or Strava

Ah thanks. Sounds like a lot of riding. Will check it out.
