THAT is a real test for any tubeless conversion ...

The rear wheel held up fine - it had enough sealant. The front wheel had to be topped up with air a few times, nearly no sealant in there.

I remember the days before tubeless where those devil thorns meant you had 5 or 6 punctures in one day. We used to carry 2 spare tubes and a patch repair kit around with us.

Puncture Time

attachicon.gifIMG_3586-1.jpg

Talking about punctures, I've had a torrid time with tyres/punctures the last week and a half [emoji35]

Let's just say that in 8 rides I had to get a lift home from 3 of them (2 different bikes, road tubes and gravel tubeless)!

Despite that still lekker to get out while the Highveld weather is at its best again [emoji41]baef5a80dd832a389da386f1f92dea96.jpg

Had a real challenge of a day yesterday. Needed some endorphins, thought I will have to burn an hour on zwift to get the job done.

I was lucky enough to get home a lot earlier that I expected, which meant I could jump on the bike and really clear the head. It was a cracker of a Gauteng Afternoon.

Did the job nicely, ended up doing two hours, and it was great!
