Decided to take some pictures on my ride this Saturday.  Summer is out at full force at the moment so had to do the ride in the morning as it was going to get too bloody hot in the afternoon for bike fun.

Morning start with the sun rising

Was months ago.  We have been riding that stretch almost every weekend because it's now lekke quiet.

Wish I knew about it sooner! It will definitely become my go-to long route for the foreseeable future.

interesting, can you get through on the bike ?

how far from R25 towards PTA is the sinkhole ?

I've been planning to do a coffee run to one of my brother in laws restaurants and that was the planned route, if the road is quiet now and passable with a bike its a good time then to do it.

I should have taken pics, but you can cross either side of the trench. You have to walk a bit as it's narrow and unstable, but it's totally passable.

It's not too far from Bapsfontein, and you can actually see it on the Google Maps:

How big is the bike?  Going through it on the left is a bit narrow.  Right side I am not sure.

Will try a head out that way this weekend and have a look.
