The 2022 Element is a different bike from the previous Elements. More of a trail bike then XC. Most fun bike I think I have ever owned. Particularly on steep downhills.

I would recommend going with a 2022 or newer if you can find one or waiting for one to pop up. 

I'm searching for a long time now and no luck yet 😞.  Will keep looking though ....

I'm with you on the 2022 frame, slacker head angle, closer to a trail bike, but I will take one model older also hands down IF I can find one.

There was a 999 RSL 2017 on the hub about 2 years ago, I wasted to much time and it was sold from under my nose ... 😥.  Since then there were one or two others but nothing in a L or XL frame 🙈.

Long ride to make up for a pretty wasted week. Did some R4S road recce and OMW, the roads are back towards Carnival are shot. I'll probably have lost the bunch by then, but it's going to be pothole dodging.

Beautiful pics, @Dusty. I can somma feel the humidity in those pics. Must go and see this country that have overcome such heart ache and trauma in the 1994 genocide.
