Home to Carnival City, then 126km on the race route for Vets 30-39, 40-49 and Juniors, before riding home again.

172km later - I guess it was a good Sunday in the saddle.

My bike has taken me into work this morning. It was my first commute in the winter, temperature was around 0°, 23km, 1u03'

obviously not as enjoyable as in summer, still a good workout. I don't see myself doing this saily now but untill the Argus my aim is to come into work by bike once a week (maybe 2 weather permitting) + a longer ride on the weekend.

Yip.... ^_^ sometimes the old 2x10 and suspension, instead of the rigid SS, can make for a nice ride too  :D

Especially on the Oom Piet's and Greek Church descents :whistling:

and thanks, was trying to capture exactly what you're seeing

Bouckaert Soenen in and around Paarl with the (in)famous team Pain or Shine! ;)  In the last few kms managed to deal out some pain to the youngsters, but I must say they really did shine for 90% of the route.
