L.T.G Posted February 28, 2015 Share Rode the Cradle trail for the first time this morning....Wasn't expecting much, heard it's pretty good, nice flow etc... but WOW!!!!... even though I had to endure the friendly and joyous nature of most Roadies at times...I had so much fun!! Especially the piece from Kloofzicht to the Rhino/Lion Circle (did that twice)Whoever is responsible, I owe you a beer! Was quietly laughing at the peeps wanting to book there bikes in for a pre CTCT service...and their silence when they were told it wasn't going to happen. People should learn to service their own bikes. It gives you that added benefit of knowledge on how to nurse your bike to the finish should some technical disaster happen. Was great to see marshals working hard on a fun run in Three Rivers - deja vu feeling from last week. Also great to see some out-of-shape tannies and ooms waddling along - better than being on the couch or in the malls (read coffee shops, eating pies). edit: Garmin showed 150km, but Strava showed 147.9kmWill have to do another longer ride.
