Ghost mountain resorts water spot on the 3rd day of Isimangaliso MTB race

Brilliant, I have never had honeycomb and boerewors at the same time, ....! Absolutely  delicious

Working from home today ..

1. Didn't waste 2hrs of my life in traffic

2. Got my work done and managed to fit in chores like laundry and get the stuff out and make use of sunshine hours.

3. Save petrol money.

4. At 4pm instead of getting into my car, I can go for nice chill sunset ride...

Flexi time /work form home just makes sense!

The last month or so I have commuted to the office.

I've really enjoyed it.

It's not far, but, it forces me to do the two rides a day, after all, once you get to the office you have to get back home...

We're fortunate that we have a full gym in the building so getting cleaned up for the day isn't an issue.

You're lucky. I don't have the balls to ride in traffic, and it's just a tad too far. And no showers.

Nowhere too exciting, but I've been riding up to the water tower on Northcliff hill and back every afternoon for the last two weeks.

I love the view and the workout is doing me good . . . . I think.

What time are you riding? I was doing Tuesdays and Thursdays before crashing. Just haven't had the drive to get back in the routine since.

I leave my house at about 4pm and I'm home by 5:30, From Weltevreden Park.

Traffic isn't too bad getting to the hill and fine on the hill.

I have no problem bullying people in the traffic or having a go at them if they do something stupid (though in all fairness, in all this time I think there's been maybe half a dozen times that's happened, and none of it was actually a serious threat to me, except one that I narrowly avoided that could would have put me in hospital)

To work and back, via UCT and the Mountain.

I was struck by the passion some UCT students have for the plight of the Marikana miners, but I was saddened that my very hard earned tax money (my eyes are still watering from what I have to pay SARS by the end of the week)  is funding someone who cannot even spell "remember". Let alone defiling a memorial for the millions of soldiers killed in the 1st and 2nd World Wars. It's not as if there wasn't any blank piece of wall to spray paint. The art of sharp political graffiti is sadly very blunt at UCT.

That stencil in green and black is work of tokolos stencil collective. The same crew who painted the Ray Ban specs. They are making a statement with the poor spelling and hand style.
