Did the 70km challenge this weekend.

Saturday 70km road race on the tandem.

Sunday  morning early 70km on the hardtail.

Got home immediately took the dual and did the same 70km loop on the dual.

It was fun.

The prize....... Two very muddy mountain bikes to wash afterwards.

Here in Slaapstad our bikes are left dusty. I just wipe the shocks and fork stanctions clean and then we are ready to go again.

Did some shuttles at the glen and TM on Saturday. Had a big lie down in the glen. and there were some F&%$s starting  a fire. We only figured it out when we were riding down. They came up. Looked REAL dodgy. We tipped in and came upon the fire.

Did you get a look? We saw 4 colored males (not trying to be racist) in a white opel astra sedan with a CF reg. They were trying to look like runners but weren't very convincing. We think it was them. They came up just as we dropped in and got to the fire.

 

There were also 2 homeless lighties (about 10) that we stopped and checked for fire starting stuff. It wasn't them. Shame and the poor little buggers were terrified.
