fanievb Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Midnight Express 2018.a very tough ride.I've learned a few things1. riding in groups sucks, everyone wants to draft, no one wants to work, and if they do they lower the pace and can't keep a straight line on an open smooth road.2. NEVER trust a norwegian weather man, always pack warm kit3. learn to apply eye drops while moving4. don't leave asthma pump in the back up vehicle super happy with my sub 8 time (overall 7h58, strava lies) startline full moon we flew to bucklands, lost the group (thankfully) when i had to stop for a nature break spot the mitsake the best Ricoffy I ever had the Grootrivier Poort, bliksem those rocks are loose and just when you think the climbing is done finally at the top race number mounted HdB, Duane_Bosch, Reme Le Hane and 9 others 12

Ride has a little bit of of everything, gravel roads, corrugation (think soutpan road), loose rocky climbs and fast downhills.
