Bought a battery, shoe laces, coffee, browsed at Woodstock Cycle Works, had coffee at the Waterfront. ChrisF Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 NICE ride at Meerendal. Me and my buddy has our typical ou-toppie pace around Meerendal ..... This time he brought a "younger" friend. Imaging two ou-toppies gasping for breath up stairway (and most other climbs) trying to keep up with a 20-year old .... Pushed our average speed up by 1,5km/h .... does not look like much on paper .... certainly enough to take one out of your comfort zone. And VERY nice to realise afterwards that there is just a bit of life left in these old legs .... time to start pushing myself and to see what my body is capable of .... and then a LEKKA cuppacino at Carlucci.
