I am riding with a 1st timer this year and hope to guide him to the finish. He is a slow climber(even to my slow standards) so we will adjust the goal time to 26-28 hours...
How are you going Fanie?
Getting there slowly.
Working on my power at the moment, current week looks something like this
2 x strength/cross training sessions
3 x 1h20 interval sessions (zwift/outdoor)
2 x long rides on the weekend (3-4 Sat and 1.5-2.5 Sun)
ps. I'm heading up country over the long weekend, will probably do 3-4 hours on the Sat
If things work out, would like to hook up with the Vrystaat pyn Trein aka @Vetseun for a spin to Tom's place and back or we can hook up if you want?
How's the training coming along everyone?
we have 9 weeks to go
clickbait
I thought you were talking about the hubs' very own @Nick

A good alternative solution would be to get a 2kW element for the geyser. With 12x455W at 50% of capacity, you're still generating 2.7kW/hour, as long as you don't run other high load appliances at the same time. I was getting 3kW/hour in the middle of winter at 11:00 - 14:00, so could charge the battery in the morning, run the pool for 1 hour, dishwasher and washing machine all before 11:00. Then the geyser, ironing and battery top up (if needed) after 14:00. Only used the grid on bad days, or when I needed to keep the batteries going through to 08:00 (winter).Don't be afraid to try different things; you need to find what works for you.
I have a solar geyser.
Pool pump will run when panels generate excess power
All other non-essential appliances are A rated so they should be able to run off the battery (during power outages will limit to daytime)
Will monitor for the next few weeks and then the installer will come back and change if needs be.

Works on my android phone and mibox thingy for the TV.
And its free. (although slower than whatever your WiFi normally is, but still good enough to watch some bike racing)
Do you want to pay or do you want something for free?
I still have an original EL (from when they only traded on bidorbuy)
Replaced the battery under warranty and its still going 6 years later.
My only gripe is the strobe function. I would rather just switch between high/low, its a pain to cycle the modes when you start heading down and need more light

note that the cam version is not round
I used a high pressure hose to blast off the build up. Works like a charm
Just beware your feet

Plug into your light battery pack.
Just need a USB cable to connect to your head unit

If that doesn't work then clearing your browser cache & cookies should do the trick.
logging out and in solved the problem, thanks Matt

forums say I'm not signed in and when I sign in, I get the same screen?
When I sign in at the top, I takes me to classifieds as signed it, but no access to the forums
