Also, Tokai, our favourite MTB stomping ground, gets a mention for a new species of flora they discovered there. Since the big fire and after the pine plantation was cleared, the biologists kept a very close eye on what started to grow from the 100 year old seed bank. They hoped for extinct ones to reappear. My pledge for the day, in an attempt to save my sanity, is to NEVER try paint Victorian "broekie"-lace ever again! It was fun though, even though I'm a bit disappointed with the end result for so much effort. Like climbing 1000m jeep track and then only getting a short 200m of single track with no flow!
