Lets just say that the new chain is the length ofone whole link shorter than the old worn out chainThat old chain is well f...ed.... past it's use by date.... Paid R13243 for both sets. Places like Flyxii have it much cheaper but then they only have 1 rim style for the 29er wheels and they only have 38mm and 50 or 55mm road. XMcarbonspeed was about $15 cheaper per rim but also only 38mm of 50mm for the road. I wanted a 45mm for road. I wanted to go wide and hookless for the 29.
