A sub 3 is a sub 3, however feels better if the race is over 105km and at least 1000m of climbing. Ave speed would be 35km/h and above.

 

94 had over 1100 m ascent.

If you think bunch riding is too easy ride with a faster bunch. Simple really.

Our club had times from 2:08 to 2:59 coming in under three hours and all suffered.

Once you are riding faster groups sub three isn't as portant as how fast you go.

100m for 11km, flat ride into the finish.

So a sub3 94.7 is the same as a Argus sub3?

No, you can + 10-15 min for the Argus

No way argus is on average 25 minutes slower. Even for the winners.

But 94 has more climbing than you think.
