I need some help please, i have a Pain Cave where my wife do some treadmill training and i do the IDT thing !! We are thinking of putting a flat screen on the wall but are not sure what to watch and how do i go about doing it. I have not bought the Flat Screen yet and was looking at a Samsung 108cm( i think) at Dion Wired. I do have an old Yamaha amp and Wharfedale Speakers will it be possible to link this up? Then what programs? ( i am still a dstv subscriber........ ).....  :whistling:

You should be able to link the amp and tv. At worst (if the amp doesn’t have HDMI, you can just get HDMI/RCA converter cables).

As for what to watch. For me it depends on what I do. If a long session, then anything that will occupy the mind - movies, series, even the news. When suffering I prefer not to watch anything but the time, and use music to motivate

Have the same situation, treadmill and IDT standing next to each other facing the wall.

I bought a cheap ikea waist high book shelf ( we always need more bookshelf space ) and put a smart TV on top of that. I use head phones with a cord plugged into the TV when cycling, while the wife uses cordless head phones sometimes when she runs.

Netflix subscription for programs...

Tip: don’t buy a large screen tv if it is going to be very close to the treadmill or IDT...., smaller is better in this case
