1 more sleep until we get to see the Windguru forecast. So far it looks calm for way too long so we'll most likely have a repeat of the conditions from this Friday.

Remember the long term weather conditions for the CTCT are notoriously inaccurate.

If good weather are predicted you can be sure the predictions will turn bad closer to the time.

If bad weather are predicted you can be sure it is going to turn out even worse..

eish, me no likey

Wind: SSE 20 km/h

Wind Gusts: 35 km/h

Humidity: 68%

Dew Point: 13° C

Cloud Cover: 85%

Visibility: 10 km

Probability of Precipitation: 0%

Precipitation: 0.0 mm

Rain: 0.0 mm

Snow: 0.0 cm

Ice: 0.0 mm

Looks like the bull run on Duane's entry has come off and the wind market has normalised.

There's a front expected middle of next week. This is probably causing a bit of fluctuation in the forecast. Hope for the best (no wind) plan for the worst (bring coffee and bagel money)

if the wind pumps I'm cruising on my gravel bike, eating and drinking

if it's still, I'm wheelsucking to 2777th position

win/win

The solution is simple mathematical one.

The more you drink the greater the effect of the wheelsucking.

Hang on one minute .....................................

which bike you using ....

and what is your start group ........ :whistling:

there's going to be some seriously qualified and ridonkulously overpaid meterologists in town next week. this kicks off on monday.

let me see if i can get some decent data from about wednesday.

if you're in town early, then it finishes on the friday will be pretty rad to watch.

Imagine doing 7 hours from 1A bunch, you get to enjoy the course and see the entire field of participants pass you...

No necessarily.

If someone who starts at 9:15am rides 4hrs, You would still have finished before them.

Any idea when us late comers might get a seeding or do we start at the back (like we probably should)?

I have no idea. I'm gonna ride with my BIL anyway and help him through. His longest ride is 20km. It's going to be a character building day for his backside.

I think I'll put my mtb cleats on coz no doubt there's gonna be a little bit of walking.

looks like BMX time to beat is 4:30,

might need to clear your outfit through ballhairs first though.

My Mankini will not be out at CTCT this year.... Remember the letters?!

You will definitely get a very detailed look at the flattened gel wrappers on 'Bossie.
