Seeing lots of surfers at Muizenberg, I mean lots, they weren't even worried. Wonder if swimming is allowed?

Not sure I'm willing to risk it.

I saw a swimmer in the backline yesterday afternoon.

The cops seem to be preventing people from going for walks and generally loitering on the sand. Although the police have said that they do consider entering the water to be prohibited, they haven't bothered enforcing it except for the little incident on Monday morning.

Hi guys, just wondering if driving to trails is allowed yet? Wouldn't mind having a go this afternoon on the spruit, but would ideally like to park at delta or emmarentia and take it from there.

I'm in the area so I won't be crossing any districts. Just don't feel like going on the roads at all.

Driving is fine,

I still don''t know about parks though - but Delta is rammed whenever I run past so go for it

It's been a while since I've been on my MTB.

What are the recommended tire pressures again? 90 psi front and 100 rear or should I go a little softer. Something like 80 front 90 rear?

From a highly qualified professional opinion may I suggest the following:

1. Given your potential unique physique since lock down, you should at least also double up on your previous shock and fork air spring pressures ... if you were running a coil, go take one off a old bakkie and fit this instead.

2. Rebound ... who needs this, slow the mofo all the way down to it's slowest setting

3. Raise your stem as high as you can on the steerer tube, and fit a min. 50mm riser bar ... your flexibility would have gone to the dogs, so this will help your back.

4. Gel saddle cover, you will thank me later.

5. Saddle bag for all the spares you won't need and one of those top tube feeding bags for all the chips and sweets you will need to make it out for a ride on the bike.

6. Hi Viz clothing, should you get lost since not being out on the mountain for so long, it would make it easier for people to find you ... even more reason your top tube bag in point no. 5 is well stocked.

These basic essential guidelines would be a good starting point.

You forgot the all important neon yellow G-Form elbow and knee pads. You will probably fall over in the parking lot - it has been a while since any of us have been on a bike.

Wouldn't this unique physique require a parachute to be deployed in the braking area?
