Trashy Posted July 15, 2021 Share Honestly, the bike I still long for the most is an old dirt jump hardtail that I built up as a trail bike back around 2008. It had 120mm of coil spring suspension and weighed a ton. Don't think I've ever come close to enjoying riding as much as I did with that bike. Rocket-Boy Posted July 15, 2021 Share Meh the old stuff brings back nostalgia but I wouldnt want to ride any of those bikes. A modern bike is just so much nicer to ride. LBKloppers, MTBeer and TNT1
Robbie Stewart Posted July 15, 2021 Share I used to mountain bike in the Witfontein forests in George on a Hansom during the 90's. These days okes ride #Endurobro on those same trails with the 170mm dual sus monster bikes wearing the latest gear such as full face helmets. fox and/or Leatt full body armor, "in case, like ,they fall bru". On the weekends that bike was a mountain bike. During the week it took me to school, home, school sports, mates, home again. Good times. No strava, no HRM's, no KOM's, just pure fun.
