First ride at Bloemendal.

 

Joined another group half way up the hill, proceeded to join them in Majic Forest .... they started from the Forest, so I was solo for the long climb back from the bottom of Majik Forest ...

 

 

last year I drove to Bloemendal ... looked at those hills, and kept on driving without taking the bike off the rack.

 

Today I cycled up all the hills at Bloemendal into a bloemen-strong-wind, and walked two sections at the Majik Forest climb.

The never ever ever ever again hill. We cycled a bit, walked a lot and found the shade very welcoming (34°C)

We had exactly the same weather yesterday, decided to cycle this morning and woke up with rain outside @ 04h30. But then again, this is George area where one gets 4 seasons in one day.

Did a long ride. Phone died before I got home. Did about a 102km. I hope the photos upload. Stopped at an old mine pit that is now flooded. The water is the most amazing colour.

With the amount of rain we having up here on the Highveld my single speed is getting plenty of use. Despite that still getting in enough riding though thankfully!
