2500m climbing in 170km, ouch!! Interesting to see some of old DC route, was used in ‘99

You okes..I love your work..I am very jealous..I would love to ride my bike.. but old age and old injuries have caught up to me..my knee is swollen I have been limping for 2 weeks..my Dr is on leave and so too my ortho...I have just resorted to where has your bottle of wine taken you.[emoji22]

Was about to head out today, My Bike well, I have a cable tie holding the front caliper in place, thanks to CAPEDIVER for the pliers to trim it. I was gonna pop on a new bolt and go check out the skills park at Hoogies then the wifes cousin rocked up, "watte murre will jy uit kap" Huh what, you want to knock out walls????

 

 

 

 

 

End result 30min ago, just finished "tidying up" . Anyway my first 2 days of leave some hard manual labour, and a lekker frustration reliever with a 10 pound sledge hammer. 

Round 2 tom, 1 more wall and I am out of here

That was a fun morning out. I find it amazing that all of that stuff is free. Eden, Mont Marie, g spot, Coetzenberg. I think I need to make a small donation to the STF.

Just out and about Jobeg Souf as I do ... Must say that bike is a hell of a lot more fun off road with those 'CX' style extra brake levers [emoji41]

 

Thanks to Pikey for the pull along RWB road into the wind, strong like Mother Russia that guy!

 

Had to laugh at another local Mark 'The Loneranger' ... 'a slight tailwind on RWB road going out will be a raging tornado headwind coming back'
