Blue Bike Day - Decided it was fun to ride with D on his single speed, especially when it got steep - one way for an old fart to keep up - the 30 year old Titanio was the right ally! What a bike! Afterwards I put it in an easier to get to place in the bike racks. It really deserves a spin more often than I've given it recently. Just those Delta brakes - they look great but they make for exciting descending!

We stopped for a late breakfast, then noticed this bike park next door having an opening/launch day under new ownership.

 

Loads of kids having a good time and there seems to be a permit available for a 30km MTB trail/ route into the Bottelierskop area. Sell good coffee as well.

We've ridden there before but never went on the "outrides". I know that the previous guy who managed the bike park marked out the "outrides" and as far as I heard it was some nice trails.

I cant get my head arund how clean it looks.  No litter not even a stompie.  I can climb to the top of devils peak and i will find crap everywhere.

Yeah i know what you mean, but trust me even here people litter unnecessarily, the difference is that someone cleans it up the next day.
