The climb up Irish was insane on the day. It got even stranger when I met a very friendly chap on his way up Irish for his first visit to Jonkers. As we chatted I noticed he had a strange accent. I asked him where he calls home and he said Ireland. 

So I attempted Iron Monkey 5 for the first time today. Spicy. Very spicy indeed. Good thing I like spice.

No pics were taken. I was too busy surviving.

Side note: upon returning to the parking lot a couple baboons were busy bending and breaking wiper blades on some parked cars. Fortunately my bakkie escaped their attention.

Great morning on the trails! Just grins all round even one small oops was just laughed off. Note to self bolt check bike 😂 we just could not get enough even after 3 rounds of everything we still wanted more but decided while we are still in one piece not to push our luck 😂

Found a 2km long flow trail 10kms ride from my front door and put my new dropper post to the test, not a bad way to spend a Sunday.
